Originally from the Santa Cruz mountains and now residing in Soquel, California, I've been immersed in the world of commercial art since 1999. My journey has been shaped by hands-on experimentation and the resources of online universities. In my day job, I specialize in creating vibrant custom art, including colorful landscapes, along with hand-lettered signage, murals, and commissioned works.
My custom art is a celebration of the natural beauty that surrounds me, particularly the colorful landscapes of California. From the towering redwoods to the golden glow of a coastal sunset, I find endless inspiration in the colors and forms of the outdoors. Working primarily with acrylic and oil paints, I strive to capture the luminous essence of these landscapes, infusing each piece with a vivid palette and a sense of graceful movement. I also create hand-lettered signage that complements my art, bringing an extra layer of personality to my work.
Through my custom art, I aim to share the joy and wonder I experience in nature, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in my colorful landscapes and to find inspiration in the simple moments of beauty that abound in the world around us. Additionally, my hand-lettered signage complements these vibrant scenes, enhancing the overall experience.
I currently have colorful landscapes and custom art showcased at Artisans Gallery on Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz. I also attend many local events throughout the year, where I share updates on my blog page and post on my Instagram and Facebook accounts, including my hand-lettered signage.
